A very fine French 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl-set open faced quarter repeating à toc verge pocket watch, circa 1800. Verge movement, repeating the hours and quarter hours à toc. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and steel Breguet hands. Case set with Orient half pearl on both sides, the back with the polychrome enamel portrait of a lady, French gold punch. Movement signed and numbered. Comes with the original key.
