An extremely heavy Swiss 14 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch made by Louis Brandt & Frère SA, circa 1897-1899. The glazed high precision lever movement with wolf’s toothing and screwed gold chatons, repeating the hours, quarter hours and minutes. White enamel dial with Arabic hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds 6 o clock, a rose gold hour hand, replaced minute hand and a very fine rose gold seconds hand. Plain case, on the front a monogram with a crown of nobility above, marked LBF for Louis Brandt & Frère.
