A large Swiss gilt and enamel lever pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1850. Lever escapement, mock pendulum. Glazed cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic quarters, centre seconds, blued steel hands. The case back with polychrome enamel painting and spring lid mechanism, both rims, pendant and bow decorated with chased flowers.
