An unusually large French silver pair cased quarter repeating oignon coach watch, circa 1700. Early verge movement, repeating the hours and quarter hours. Silver champlevé dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, probably later blued hands. Shagreen outer case, pierced and engraved inner case, decorated with various bird and animal scenes, bell. Accompanied by a silver chatelaine with signet and rare key matching the winding mechanism. Movement signed.
