Very fine silver clockwatch with decorative dial by Peiras

A very fine and very rare, early French silver hour striking clockwatch with alarm, pre balance spring and three train pendant, circa 1650. Hinged, round gilt brass full plate movement with primitive tulip pillars, fusee with chaine, verge escapement, plain steel two armed balance without spring, irregular oval foliate pierced and engraved cock secured by a pin, striking on a bell, the striking train with gilt brass pierced and engraved fixed barrel and revolving arbour, gilt brass count wheel mounted on the back plate. Decorative dial with Roman and Arabic hours, single hand, engraved center. Pierced and engraved case. Movement signed.
