A French silver/enamel single-hand rock crystal crucifix pendant watch, circa 1650.
A remarkable rock crystal watch in excellent original condition and unusually small size. The case has a faceted rock crystal cover and a rock crystal back in a silver/enamel engraved frame. The dial is silvered with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, and steal hand, it has a cruciform, signed verge movement with floral decorations and pierced and engraved balance cock, worm wheel setup.
