A Swiss 56-hour power reserve marine chronometer, circa 1900-1950. Very fine chronometer movement, spring detent escapement, helical hairspring, chronometer balance, diamond endstone. Silvered dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, 56-hour power reserve indication, blued steel hands. Mahogany box, upper cover missing, gimbal suspension, lacquered metal case. Box and dial signed and numbered, box and dial with matching numbers. Last serviced in January 1974 Dai-Ichi Keiki, Kobe & Yokohama.
