An important German silver triple cased self-striking and repeating coach clock with alarm, circa 1750-1767.  Highly complicated decorated verge movement with four barrels, Tompion-type fine adjusting device, extravagant pillars, engraved barrels. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and steel hands. The first case leather with base, second case silver with melted lacquer or enamel in tortoiseshell optics on the back, third silver case, four windings for the movement on the back: self-striking, repeater and alarm. Movement signed.
