An important Glashütte hunting cased pocket watch, chronometer with spring detent escapement and chain/fusee, circa 1887. 2/3 Plate movement, frosted, gilt, chain/fusee, screwed gold chatons, blued screws, spring detent escapement, gold screwed compensation balance, freesprung, blued, helical balance spring with both sides passing and protection against gallopping, florally handengraved balance cock, chatoned diamond endstone on balance, goldchatoned ruby endstone on chronometer wheel. Enamel dial, Arabic Empire numerals, sunk center and auxiliary seconds, gold Louis XV hands. 18 Carat gold Bassine case, smooth, à goutte, gold dome and glazed movement.
