An elegant Swiss 18K gold keyless dress watch, circa 1930. Made for Shreve, Crump and Low. A polished and brushed case, the back engraved with two gryphons around an engraved monogram. Gold dial with engine turned centre, outer engraved chapter ring, sunken sub-seconds and blued Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, eight adjustments, straight-line lever escapement with antenna compensation, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed Patek Philippe, movement signed Shreve, Crump and Low, Boston.
