A gentleman’s very fine, extremely rare Geneva five minute repeating pocket watch so called “Trip Repeater”, circa 1894. 18k rose gold case, polished, à goutte, numbered and signed gold dome, pusher for repetition via pendant. Enamel dial, Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, blued spade hands. Bridge movement, rhodium plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, tandem winding with mirror polished click on the top, gold screw compensation balance, counterpoised lever.
