Stainless steel lever watch with patented power reserve

A fine, rare and unusual Swiss staybrite stainless steel open faced patented eight day going keyless dress watch with power reserve indication, circa 1937. The rhodium plated 3/4 plate movement with a straight line lever escapement, Geneva striping decoration in a concentric pattern, 15 jewels, a large going barrel, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and an index regulator. Matte silver dial with applied Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, offset subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock, a power reserve aperture above 6 o’clock and original blued steel Breguet hands. The flat polished case with a lancet shaped bow. Dial, case and movement signed.
