A very fine and elegant Swiss, keyless, Staybrite stainless steel and pink gold dress watch with a two-tone dial, circa 1937. Sold on January 26, 1938. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. A solid, polished and brushed case, pink gold-rimmed bezels. Two-tone silver dial with applied pink gold Arabic numerals and baton indexes on an outer reserve, outer minute track, guilloché subsidiary seconds dial. Pink gold feuille hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
