A fine Swiss stainless steel and pink gold open faced keyless lever watch with a two tone dial, circa 1937. Retailed by Walser Wald, Buenos Aires.
This watch features a 17”’21/12 damascened nickel movement, signed Patek Philippe & Co., with a jewelled lever escapement and a bi metallic compensation balance. The dial is two tone silvered, marked with Patek Philippe & Cie, Walser Wald, and showcases raised pink gold Arabic, baton hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial, and gold feuille hands. The case is made of steel and 18k pink gold, with a satin finish and an engraved monogram. It is signed and numbered Patek Philippe & Co., 616598.

The watch is accompanied by an Extract from the Archives, confirming its production in 1937 and its sale on April 12, 1938.

Movement is running. The dial has a fine scratch at 3 o’clock, tarnishing on the hour markers, and slight spotting on the subsidiary seconds. The case shows light scuffs, with engraved initials ‘JHL’ and scratches on the glass.
