A very fine and extremely rare, thin Swiss, 18K yellow gold, keyless, digital perpetual calendar dress watch with phases of the moon and eccentric two-tone dial, circa 1937. Sold on December 27, 1944. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. A polished case, two-tone gold dial, eccentric, applied yellow gold Roman quarter-hour numerals and gold baton indexes on a polished chapter ring, outer minute divisions, four apertures for days of the week, date, months and phases of the moon, subsidiary seconds. Gold feuille hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed, case numbered.
