Rose gold lever chronograph by Rolex

A very fine, early and extremely rare Swiss 9 carat rose gold open faced lever pocket watch with chronograph, register and tachometer, circa 1937. Rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. A gilt metal screw-down cuvette. Black painted dial with applied rose gold baton indexes, outer minute and fifths of a second divisions, Arabic five minute/second numerals, an outermost tachometer scale, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, register at 12 and gold baton hands. The polished case with a curved bezel and Dublin import marks for 1937.
