A very fine Swiss 18 carat rose and white gold open faced keyless pendant watch made by Longines Watch Co, circa 1910. Retailed by Tiffany & Co in New York, U.S.A.
The rhodium plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, 15 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator. Matte silver dial with painted black Arabic numerals, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and original blued steel Breguet hands. Bezel and back rim of the case decorated in a relief white gold flower and leaf pattern, the hinged back decorated in a white gold flower and leaf pattern in relief with two birds in the center and a gold cuvette engraved Bigot à Bourges. Dial signed by the retailer, movement marked by the watchmaker, case numbered.
