Gold and champlevé enamel keyless lever by LeCoultre & Cie

A fine French 18 carat gold and champlevé enamel hunting-cased keyless lever pendant watch, circa 1900. Nickeled matte gilt movement, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, gilt balance with blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, outer gold paillon minute dot divisions and original gilt Louis XV hands. Entirely decorated case with engraved gold foliage and polychrome champlevé enamel flowers on a red ground. Movement signed by LeCoultre & Cie, case stamped with French 18 carat gold mark and maker’s mark SJGs within a garter.
