A fine Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel half-hunting cased lever pendant watch, circa 1890. Matte gilt movement, bar calibre, 15 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds, original black steel spade hands. The case is entirely foliate engraved, the back painted on enamel with a rose spray on a pink opalescent guilloché ground, blue enamel leaf border, the front with radial blue Roman numerals on an opalescent pink guilloché ground, outer blue enamel leaf and flower border. Dial and cuvette signed.
