A fine, rare and thin French 18-carat gold and champlevé enamel open faced digital jump hour pocket watch, circa 1830. Frosted gilt movement, jewelled cylinder escapement, plain three armed gold balance, flat blued steel balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. Silver dial, entirely engraved with foliage and flowers, apertures for the jump hours and the minutes with Arabic numerals. Case with hinged and sprung back cover decorated with black enamel and chased gold foliage and blue and green flowers, bezel decorated to match. Cuvette signed.
