Gold open faced minute repeater by Patek Philippe

A very fine and thin Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless lever dress watch, circa 1909. Sold on August 2, 1919. Rhodium plated movement,  31 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Gold hinged cuvette with engraved dedication. Frosted gilt engine turned dial with champlevé dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands. Plain case. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signedm, case numbered. Comes with Extract from the Archives.
