A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl-set keyless lever pocket watch made in the antique Chinese market style in the 1970s. Frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, shock absorber, screw micrometre regulator. White lacquer dial with Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and original gold Louis XVI hands. Bezel set with split-pearls, reeded band, the case back decorated with a finely painted on enamel bouquet of flowers including peonies, roses and poppies, translucent royal blue enamel ground over engine-turning, split-pearl-set border. Dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
