A fine and large Swiss 14 carat rose gold hunting cased keyless pocket chronometer, circa 1890. Matte gilt half-plate dial, jewelled to the centre, some with screwed chatons, pivoted detent escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel helical balance spring with inner and outer terminal curves, swanneck micrometre regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and original gilt Louis hands. Polished case. Case numbered.
