A very fine and rare French 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond-set keyless cylinder fob watch with matching bow, circa 1900. Gilt-brass movement, eight jewels, wolf’s tooth winding wheels, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with alternate Roman numerals and decoration, outer minute track, outermost large blue five-minute Arabic numerals, central blue star design and original gold Louis X hands. Case elaborately decorated with translucent royal blue enamel and set with rose-cut diamonds, matching bow and fob. Dial and cuvette signed.
