Silver keyless lever with alarm

A fine and rare Swiss silver open faced two-train keyless lever pocket watch with alarm, circa 1890. Matte gilt movement, 15 jewels, two trains with tandem winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, notched bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Hinged silver and blued steel cuvette pierced for sound emission. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track for the alarm and original blued steel Breguet hands. The bezel engraved with stylized flowers and rotating with a gold-rimmed aperture for the alarm setting, polished band, the back cover decorated in high-relief with a cricket, pierced border to match the bezel, the interior with embossed cricket. Case numbered.
