A fine Swiss silver hunting cased chronograph keyless lever pocket watch with instantaneous 30-minute register, circa 1915. Cronografo Contador. Rhodium-plated movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Hinged cuvette engraved with various Longines Grand Prix award medals. White enamel dial with bold painted Arabic numerals, outer Arabic minute and fifths of a second chronograph division, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30-minute register, original blued steel spade hands. Solid case, the front cover decorated in high relief with a scene of a hunter in a mountainous landscape, the back with a gun dog holding a gamebird in its mouth, laurel and berry band. Dial, cuvette and movement signed.
