Gold minute repeating complicated chronograph by Le Roy & Cie

An extremely fine and very rare French 18 Carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless lever chronograph pocket watch with perpetual calendar and moon phases, circa 1910. Gilt brass movement, 36 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, chronograph with visible work and co axial button on the winding crown for start/stop/return-to-zero fuctions. Gold hinged cuvette. Matte silver dial with black champlevé Arabic numerals, outer minute track with five minute Arabic numerals, outermost fifth of a second chronograph divisions, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months, leap year cycle, the date and the seconds with inner moon phase aperture, engine turned centre, original blued steel pear and lozenge hands. Polished case. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
