A fine Swiss silver open faced keyless lever pocket watch specially made for the Schützenfest, Langenthal (Bern), 1931 or Federal Shooting Exhibition in Langenthal, Switzerland, 1931. Rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Hinged silver cuvette. Matte gilt dial with applied gold Breguet numerals, outer dot minute divisions and 24-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds, original gold Breguet hands. Solid case, polished, the back cover cast with the arms of the Canton of Bern surrounded by the inscription Schutzenfest Langenthal 1931, Bernisches Kant. Dial and movement signed, case numbered and signed Huguenin. Accompanied by the original fitted box and original numbered guarantee.
