Gold watch with six complications

A very fine, rare, large and heavy Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch with perpetual calendar, moon phases and ages of the moon, circa 1980. A rhodium-plated movement with Geneva Striping decoration, wolf’s tooth winding, 32 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring and index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. A hinged gold cuvette. Matte silver dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week, the months with leap-year cycle and seconds, a moon phase aperture with the moon’s age on the border and blued steel spade hands. The massive, polished case with a sprung front cover. Dial signed, case numbered.
