A fine, rare and large Swiss chromed open faced keyless split seconds chronograph stopwatch with instantaneous 30 minute register, circa 1940. Gilt brass movement, straight-line lever escapement, fast beating monometallic balance, self compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Snap on steel cuvette. White enamel dial with painted black Arabic numerals, outer 1/5th of a second track with five minute/second Arabic markers from 0-300, subsidiary 30-minute register dial, original blued steel hand and red split seconds hand. Polished case. Dial signed, movement numbered. Accompanied by a fitted box.
