A fine and elegant Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced keyless lever dress watch, circa 1945. Sold on January 25th, 1947. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Two-tone silver dial with printed Arabic quarter-hour numerals and applied rose gold dot indexes, outer engraved dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds dial and original rose gold baton hands. Solid and polished case, stepped bezel, circular bow. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
