Fob watch with a detachable bow by Maison Vever

A very fine and rare French 18 Carat gold, enamel, diamond and emerald set keyless cylinder fob watch with matching 18 Carat gold, enamel, emerald and sapphire-set detachable bow, circa 1900. Frosted gilt movement, 15 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding wheels, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance, blued steel overcoil hairspring, index regulator. Ivory coloured enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minutes and outermost five minute Arabic numerals and original gold spade hands. Prominent outer bezel heavily decorated with repeat flower pattern, each set with a diamond, white and turquoise enamel decorated band, pierced and engraved reverse with red and white enamel leaf pattern centre highlighted by an emerald, over a gold guilloché translucent turquoise enamel cuvette. The bow is secured by a clip with a similar central red and white leaf design highlighted by an emerald. Dial signed.
