An English gold keyless wind open face chronometer pocket watch, London Hallmark for 1855. Gilt 1/2 plate modified English lever movement, helical balance spring, cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and gilt fleur de lys hands. 18 Carat engine turned hinged case, cartouche to back.
Movement signed, case stamped ‘EK’.
