An English 18 carat gold keyless wind quarter repeating open faced pocket watch, London hallmark for 1882. Gilt 3/4 plate English lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, diamond end stone, polished hammers striking on two gongs. White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and blued steel spade hands.
Engine turned hinged case, repeat slide at 3, cartouche with small monogram to reverse. Movement and dial signed, case stamped ‘AS’.
