A fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set hunting cased two train minute repeating petite sonnerie keyless lever clock watch, circa 1890. Made for the Indian market. Gilt finished highly jeweled two train movement wound by turning the crown to either side, wolf’s tooth winding, minute repeating and en passant striking on two polished steel hammers. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands and subsidiary seconds. Large case, the covers with translucent blue enamel over engine turning with chased and engraved foliate scrolls, the front set with diamonds, sonnerie/silence lever underneath the bezel, repeating slide in the band. Dial signed, case and cuvette numbered.
