A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless lever split seconds chronograph watch, circa 1902. Nickel finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, repeating on two steel hammers onto two gongs. Gold cuvette with engraved inscription Edwin Wilcock 19 June 1906. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer red Arabic five minute divisions and blued steel spade hands. Plain case, hinged back with engraved initials ‘EW’, repeating and chronograph locking slide in the band, split seconds chronograph buttons in the band and in the crown. Case, dial and movement signed.
