An unusual and attractive Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced keyless lever dress watch, circa 1923. Nickel finished lever movement, 18 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Silvered matte dial, applied gold Arabic numerals and engine turned subsidiary seconds. Case with finely inlaid black enamel Art Deco style geometrical decoration to bezel, rim, band, pendant and bow, small red circular dot on the bezel to both sides, hinged back with engraved initials ‘W.S.P.’. Case, cuvette, dial and movement signed.
