Gold keyless lever pocket watch

A fine and possibly unique Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced keyless lever watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1960. Retailed by Gobbi in Milano, Italy. The nickel finished lever movement stamped twice with the Geneva seal and with 17 jewels. Matte silvered dial with applied baton indexes and Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions and subsidiary seconds. The plain case with a snap-on back featuring a polychrome enamel miniature depicting ‘Basket of Flowers’ after Rachel Ruysch, the inside engraved R. Ruysch 1664 – 1750 Ecole Hollandaise. Case and movement signed by the watchmaker, dial signed by watchmaker and retailer.
