A fine, rare and attractive Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set hunting cased two train minute repeating grande sonnerie keyless lever clockwatch made for the Indian market, circa 1890.
Mechanical two train lever movement, 30 jewels, minute repeating and en passant grande sonnerie hour, half hour and quarter striking on two polished steel hammers. Gold cuvette.
White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Case with translucent Royal blue enamel over engine turned background decorated sides, foliate and white enamel borders, front decorated with a diamond set and gold bow and swag, one lever for Sonnerie/Silence underneath the bezel, repeating slide in the band. Case and cuvette numbered, dial signed.
