A fine Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1880-1899. Nickel finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding, minute repeating on two polished hammers on to two gongs, activated through a slide in the band, glazed dust cover. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, blued Breguet hands. Engine turned case, monogrammed to the front, hinged back. Case, cuvette, dial and movement signed and numbered, case stamped FN.
