Gold open faced key winding watch

A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch from the 19th century. It has a mechanical key wound movement with a cylinder escapement. The white enamel dial shows black Roman numerals for the hours, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and steel Breguet style hands. It is housed in a round 18 carat solid yellow gold open faced case with a reverse back cover intricately chased with plant motifs, a sturdy round suspension bow, and a gilt metal inner protective cuvette. Comes with a gilt metal winding key.
