A Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1879. Gilt finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Inscribed gold cuvette from Joseph 1881. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Textured case, monogram MB to the front, hinged back. Case and cuvette signed and numbered, movement numbered. Comes with the original Certificate of Origin and presentation box.
