A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased detent pocket chronometer, circa 1890. Nickel finished jewelled detent movement, bimetallic compensation balance, helical hairspring, gold screwed chatons, gold and platinum balance screws, precision regulator, glazed dust cover. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer calibrated minute track with Arabic five minute divisions, sunken subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel hands. Heavy engine turned case, monogrammed to the front, hinged back. Case and cuvette signed. Comes with wooden presentation box.
