Gold open faced repeating lever chronograph by Vacheron & Constantin

A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless lever chronograph pocket watch, circa 1926. Nickel finished lever movement, 36 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding, micrometer regulator, minute repeating on two hammers on to two gongs, repeat activated through a slide in the band. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer calibrated railway fifth seconds divisions with Arabic fifth seconds, two subsidiary dials for 30 minute register and constant seconds. Plain case, chronograph operated through the crown. Case, cuvette, dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Comes with original certificate and bill of sale.
