A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless lever watch, circa 1901. Retailed by Henry Oemisch, Rochester, N.Y. Nickel finished jewelled lever movement, repeating on two polished steel hammers onto two gongs. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, subsidiary seconds and gold Louis XV style hands. Hinged case back monogrammed HSW, minute repeating through a slide in the band. Case, dial and movement signed by watchmaker, movement also signed by the retailer, case and movement numbered. Comes with 14 carat gold watch chain, certificate and original presentation box.
