A French 18 carat gold quarter repeating skeletonized pocket watch, circa 1815. An engine-turned case back, fluted band, transparent spring-loaded cuvette. Transparent, white enamel dial outer ring with Breguet numerals and blued steel Breguet hands. Outer minute track, the polished steel repeating mechanism visible on the skeletonized gilt brass front plate. Frosted gilt, full plate movement with cylindrical pillars, fusée and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with flat balance spring, pierced and engraved continental balance clock, silver regulation dial. Repeating on gongs activated by depressing the pendant. Cuvette and movement signed.
