A very charming French 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating key wind pocket watch made by Breguet in Paris, circa 1815. The case with a twisted wire band, an embossed geometric engraved pattern on the back and a brass cuvette. A gold, engine turned dial with black Arabic hour numerals in white enamel cartouches and Breguet hands, a special central polychrome enamel scene in the center depicting a Pixie at the altar of love. A frosted gilt movement, cylinder escapement and three arm gold balance with flat balance spring. Movement and case are numbered.
