A technical interesting Swiss/French 18 carat rose gold open faced musical cylinder pocket watch, circa 1815. Extremely rare, so-called Barillet-type, movement with musical cylinder, cylinder escapement. White enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, rose gold hands. Plain case, Parisian gold punch 1809-1819, maker’s punch BC, small release button.
