A very fine 18k yellow gold Swiss, keyless, minute repeating pocket watch, circa 1890. A solid, polished bezel, engine-turned case back, reeded band, glazed bezel to view the movement. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold spade hands.

Nickel-silver movement, Geneva striping decoration, 33 jewels of which two are set in screwed gold châtons, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Dial signed, case numbered.
