An extremely rare and important Swiss gilt keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1967. A chronometer with one minute tourbillon regulator and thermometer. A massive, plain case. Silver dial with black Roman numerals on a plain reserve, outer minute track, engine turned centre, sunk subsidiary seconds, thermometer indication at 12 o’clock and blued steel Breguet hands. Glazed rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 15 jewels, stamped twice with the Geneva hallmark, a two armed cut bimetallic balance with gold poising screws, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve and arc limiting pin, and polished steel tourbillon carriage driven by the minute wheel.
